Hotel and Resort Butler Duties

  • Meet and greet guests using the correct form of personal address
  • Offer welcome beverages and snacks
  • Deliver and refresh daily amenities including newspapers, fruit and flowers
  • Conduct in-room check-in / check-out procedures
  • Provide room and resort orientation and incorporate upsell techniques
  • Unpack, organise and present apparel and toiletries; repack on departure
  • Provide personal valet services such as ironing, hand-washing and shoe cleaning
  • Make reservations and bookings on behalf of the guest and follow up on satisfaction
  • Check and correct suite presentation daily to ensure the highest standard
  • Provide evening turn down services
  • Plan and execute private dining experiences including in-room dining, picnics and remote locations
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment
  • Maintain accurate guest history record
